since April 2016 the Friends of St-Jean-St-Maurice-sur-Loire, in partnership with the association Braille & Culture, have organized guided tours accessible to everyone and offer:

  • a guided tour of the village with a guide
  • visiting handbooks with relief and contrasting color drawings
  • a text of presentation of the church of St-Maurice transcribed in Braille and large characters
  • a tactile kit including a model of the castle and dungeon, reproductions of heritage objects.

For this project of adapted visits, the association has received the financial support of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, the Loire Department, Roannais Pays de Rhône-Alpes, Roannais Agglomération, the municipality of St-Jean-St -Maurice-sur-Loire and the Harmonie Solidarités Foundation
