The association organizes and participates in various events (and events) to develop the village and attract visitors. The association is particularly involved in three major cultural events.
16th edition from 8th to 9th June 2019
This 16th edition was as successful as in previous years. Many visitors came to appreciate the work of the fifty painters in the streets of the village.
Entertainment appreciated by the public was offered in different places.
The Sunday night auction sold 26 paintings out of the 35 available. The rain surprised everyone right after the presentation of the last painting!
Since 2001, 17 villages from France, Switzerland and Italy have participated in this yearly meeting, organized with the aim of brotherhood, solidarity and friendship.
The meeting of these eponymous places is an opportunity to organize a large local festival. Each stand of St-Maurice presents its regional products, tourist and cultural information.
19th Gathering from 15th to 16th June, 2019
15 delegations were represented in Saint Maurice de Lestapel.
24 “jeanmauriois” participated in the good mood at these two days, despite a little rain.
Well organized tours were offered on Saturday afternoon, 420 guests enjoyed the gala evening under the marquee, and the Sunday festivities closed the event
