The colorful Loire

This year again, painters were present. The public, each year more and more numerous, came to admire the work of the 47 artists who had set themselves up in the village. The entertainment was of high quality and was appreciated by the spectators.

In the garden of la Cure, 41 paintings made during this week-end were put up for auction, and 24 were bought.

On Saturday, the pulic was able to discover the village during an original visit, accompanied by “The Circus at the corner of the street and Cie le Filet d’air”, and with the participation of the Friends.

On the 26th and 27th of May 2012 Loire in color was a real success with a total of 47 painters, among whom 10 were new. On Sunday evening, the auction was attended by more than 350 people. 30 out of 36 paintings were sold.

The audience was also pleased with the musical entertainment, the meals offered and the dance event on Saturday evening, which was also very much appreciated by all visitors. The workshop for children was set up in the René Robert room.

Painters putting their easel in the streets or squares of the village and realizing works of quality during the week-end. A festive and family atmosphere with entertainment, musical appointments, wandering shows and workshops for children.
