Once more, « the Loire in colors/ the colourful Loire” has been a great success.
This week-end gave pictorial art more than its due in many forms: street painting and many painters present in the village, street art and graffiti and silkscreen workshops, guided tours of the medieval paintings of the church of Saint-Maurice by guides of our association.
The visitors enjoyed the original lively program with music concerts from the Conservatoire de Musique Roannais and wandering shows.
At the Sunday evening auction, 45 paintings were presented and 28 sold.

This year again, painters were present. The public, each year more and more numerous, came to admire the work of the 47 artists who had set themselves up in the village. The entertainment was of high quality and was appreciated by the spectators.
In the garden of la Cure, 41 paintings made during this week-end were put up for auction, and 24 were bought.

After the rain of the previous year, the village received 48 painters, including 6 new ones, in an oppressive heat. Nearly 1500 visitors came and made the most of of all the activities offered during the weekend.
46 paintings were put up for auction, 27 were sold. The animations were of quality with, among others, a show at Ris Serpentin on Saturday evening which attracted nearly 200 people.

On the 26th and 27th of May 2012 Loire in color was a real success with a total of 47 painters, among whom 10 were new. On Sunday evening, the auction was attended by more than 350 people. 30 out of 36 paintings were sold.
At the end of these two days, the paintings are put up for auction in the garden of la Cure.
Since 2004 a yearly event in partnership with la CCOR (Community of Municipalities of West Roanne), now in partnership with Roannais Agglomération.
