14th Gathering from 20th to 22nd September, 2014

The gathering took place in St-Maurice-d’Agaune as part of the Jubilee of the 1500th anniversary of the founding of the Abbey of St-Maurice-en-Valais. It was founded in 515 on the tomb of the martyred Theban saints Maurice and his companions. Before the opening of the Jubilee Year on 23th September, the Treasury of the Abbey was exhibited for 3 months in the Louvre, after a noticed passage to Notre-Dame de Paris.

15 villages, 330 participants, 40 of whom from St-Jean-St-Maurice-sur-Loire, were; once more we were pleased to meet contentedly and in a spirit of conviviality and brotherhood.
